Tim Wood is the editor of The Cape Cod Chronicle, a weekly newspaper in Chatham, Mass.  He’s been a reporter/editor for the paper for nearly 30 years, covering everything from local board meetings to hurricanes and great white shark sightings.

Tim grew up in Connecticut and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut, where he was an editor of the student-run Connecticut Daily Campus.  He moved to Cape Cod after college and never left.  Along with his journalistic work, he’s written a book, “Breakthrough: The Story of Chatham’s North Beach,” which chronicles the effects of a 1987 break in Chatham’s barrier beach which led to the destruction of houses and loss of valuable land.

An avid comic book reader and collector, Tim was the author of a short-lived single-panel comic in The Chronicle in the 1980s and is delighted to be writing a weekly comic strip.  He lives in Chatham with his wife, Jenny, and two boys, Rowan and Lir, both of whom also love comics.
